Erika Myer is a Queensland-based photographer hailing originally from Hungarian background. Erika’s passion for photography began in her early teen-age years and grew ever stronger as she experimented with the medium. Seeing the potential to reveal the hidden past within realty, in which the impossible becomes possible – Erika saw photography as a potent means of self-expression.
Exploring everyday objects, she reveals a truth by representing the subject in a new and different form. Her images share common ground where tension and depth perforated here and there, by means of light, also stimulates the imagination to which there is no end.
